The Brunei Creative Industry Database is an initiative by the Intellectual Property Division under the Attorney General’s Chambers of Brunei Darussalam also known as the “Brunei Intellectual Property Office” or “BruIPO”.

It is designed to bring together information on Brunei Darussalam’s creative talents across all creative disciplines.

The database serves as a central platform to document and showcase local creative professionals and enterprises. Its objectives are to:

• Provide a consolidated and up-to-date database of Brunei Darussalam’s creative industry;

• Support government agencies in identifying local creative talents who may be considered for capacity-building programmes, training opportunities, or representation at regional and international events; and

• Act as a reference point for persons seeking to collaborate with or engage local creative talents.

The Creative Industry Database aims to strengthen visibility, encourage collaboration and help transform creativity into sustainable opportunities and livelihoods. This initiative represents an important step towards building a more connected, inclusive and opportunity rich creative ecosystem in Brunei Darussalam.
