As part of its continuous effort to enhance its services, BruIPO recently organised an introductory session for trademark agents in conjunction with the launch of an Online IP Database using WIPO Publish. The session was facilitated by a technical expert from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and attended by 16 representatives from local Law firms.  WIPO Publish will enable applicants and agents to conduct an IP search conveniently from home or at the tip of their fingers using smartphones.

WIPO also shared with the participants a preview on the next initiative on IP registration via Online Filing known as 'WIPO File' that will be implemented by BruIPO in the near future.
